Our team of instructors is passionate about nurturing musical talent and providing a supportive learning environment. They volunteer their time and efforts and are committed to helping students explore and develop their musical abilities to the fullest.












Xenia Plarre
Percussion Lecturer
Xenia Plarre has over a decade of drumming experience, and has performed with various ensembles, having played percussion at concerts for Strings Attached, at big band workshops, and for Swakopmund Brass Group. She participated in the 2022 and 2023 Musikwoche, took part in the 2025 NNSO Orchestral Odyssey concert.



Ndatoolewe Kandjungulume
Recorder Lecturer
In 2022, Ndatoolewe was elected as a lecturer for students at Swakopmund Musikwoche. In 2023, she achieved a diploma in all types of recorders from APC Tsumeb. In 2024, she was invited to Kally's Music Academy to become a recorder lecturer at the Oshana Youth Orchestra. Currently, she is pursuing her distance studies at the College of London Trinity in South Africa.
Mietze Dill
Cello Lecturer
Mietze started with piano at age 6, and cello at age 11 with Arend Brink in Bloemfontein. A year thereafter she commenced lessons with Anzél Gerber in Pretoria, who continued to be her cello mentor till the completion of her BMus degree (cum laude) at the University of Pretoria in 2010. She passed all her practical cello and theory of music exams with distinction.
Thetardius Munjanu
Assistant Brass Lecturer
Thetardius Munjanu born on 15 March 1990 in the southern parts of Namibia town Keetmanshoop. His interest in music began at the age of 10, when he was taught the trumpet at home by his father. His musical journey started in church, where he later became the Lutheran Church Brass Band condutor in 2010.
